99/365 - Seeds

99/365 - Seeds

We'll try to plant a few seeds, this year.  We probably should have gotten them started earlier, but there's plenty of growing season ahead.

We've started putting drywall on the ceiling of the garage.  Here's Donald securing a sheet while the handy lift holds it in place.

Gorgeous weather.  Blue skies and puffy white clouds.

The toaster oven is convenient for things like our oven-baked fries. (Yummy.) It's especially nice in the summer. No need to heat up the whole oven for baking small things (and we can even take it outside to avoid heating up the house).

The loropetalum has put on quite a show this year!

Generic "springtime" photo to fill in for the photo I forgot to take yesterday...  Everything is greening up nicely!

91/365 - Working on the Garage

91/365 - Working on the Garage

We're working on insulating the garage.  (The tape is just to hold the insulation in place temporarily, until we can put up the drywall.)

There are a few more photos of the garage on Flickr, and we'll be sure to take more when there's more progress to show.

A bird's nest in one of the birch trees near the shed at the back of the yard...

89/365 - Clematis

89/365 - Clematis

This is one of three clematis vines my mother gave me from her garden a year or two ago.  I haven't had the best of luck with clematis, in the past, but so far (knock on wood) these are hanging in there.

(And a bonus photo of the same flower one day later...)

Enjoying some time on the bed before someone ruins the fun by announcing that it's time for the inevitable "Night-Night Walk with Molly".

87/365 - Bee Trap

Carpenter bees are real pests around our yard, so this year we've made a couple of traps for them-- one for the patio and one for the shed.  We've caught quite a few bees already.
